The 'Airbag Poetry' installation was held temporary during the end of year 'after work parties' at the entrance of 'Jeux D'Hiver'. A context where alcohol (and drugs) abuse and driving is a returning problem. Why 'Poetry' you ask? It's been extensively and scientifically proven that poetry has a huge healing power. Which is why we took the pain of losing a life in traffic to a poem, but from a very unexpected point of view: the one of the airbag. It's the story of an airbag that could not live up to the only reason of its existence: protecting its driver. The story of an airbag filled with guild for not having been able to save a life. Though seizing the opportunity to warn all that are reading the poem to not challenge faith, and to not count on their airbags, but instead take the smartest decision to not drive under the influence.
