Briefing

For people today, it is quite hard to imagine the daily life of a 1950s mineworker. So Cmine decided to immerse their visitors in this experience with the help of BLISS.

Solution

For 8 minutes long, the Cmine visitor sees, hears and feels what a mineworker from the 50s would experience daily. Immersing people in whole new worlds is the whole point of VR, but for this project, BLISS really went the extra mile. Visitors won’t be all alone in their little digital world: visitors can see each other’s avatar at certain moments and feel like they are actually wearing a helmet, to add to the authenticity of the feeling.
