Hearing about history is one thing. Experiencing it, is something completely different. Historium, the history attraction in Bruges, wanted their visitors to The Historium tourist attraction was looking for a unique way to let their visitors immerse themselves in the Middle Ages.
Solution
Put on some goggles and find yourself in center Bruges, Middle Age Edition. Sounds simple, but it takes a little more than that. To make the experience as authentic as possible, Bliss based the designs on the famous ancient map of Bruges, made by Marcus Gerardus and on the research by a historical comity. This comity consisted of prof. dr. Wim Blockmans, dr. Noël Geirnaert and dr. André Vandewalle. This research, combined with state of the art technology made this VR-experience a Belgian technology first.
